Participation and health
I understand that reformer Pilates involves physical activity and may include risks such as muscle soreness, strains, falls or other injury. I choose to participate and will tell my instructor before class about any injury, health condition, pregnancy, recent surgery or other matter that may affect my participation.
I understand that TIA Pilates classes are not medical care or a substitute for advice from a doctor or other qualified health professional. I will work within my own ability, follow safety instructions, and stop and tell the instructor if I feel pain, dizziness or unwell.
I understand that I can ask for an exercise to be explained or modified. I will use the reformer and other equipment only as instructed and will let the instructor know if anything appears damaged or unsafe.
